Confused Over Which BMW Car to Buy?

If you were thinking of a luxury car that suits your tastes, and at the same time understands your needs as well; think of a BMW. Being in the market for almost 90 years now, BMW have been one of the most respected luxury car brands in the market; besides other European cars such as Porsche, Mercedes Benz, Audi and Jaguar.

The best part of this luxury brand is that they do not cater to only the super-rich, but to many in the luxury car market. This means that even if you do not have an open-ended budget, you can still get a BMW car, at least in the 1 or 3 series.

Brief History

BMW is actually an acronym for Bavarian Motor Works, or technically Bayerische Motoren Werke AG. This company was founded in the year 1913 by Karl Friedrich Rapp in Munich, Germany. Their slogan is The Ultimate Driving Machine, which also suggests why even the lowest-end BMW car is really a great automobile. The trademark of their cars lied in the kidney grills, which were first seen on the BMW 303 in the early 1930s. The design of the cars changed according to the eras to more contemporary designs.

From the 2500 and 2800, now their cars range from the 1 series to the 6 series, the X series to the Z series, and not to forget; the M series!

If you have a smaller budget, but still want a BMW car, then you might want to go for the 1 series. A compact BMW car by nature, this sedan serves its purpose as one of the most perfect urban cars. If you can, you might want to opt for the 3 series which people say is the most favorite and famous of them all. There are sedans, coupes and convertibles, each according to their own power train sub-series categorization.

Entering the upper echelons of the luxury line, we have the 5 series. The current 5 series is universally known as one of the fiercest looking cars, and this BMW car series comes in the forms of sedan and touring. Moving up further, we have the 6 series, which is very exclusive and rare. And then the 7 series tops the luxury line and is the dream car of many people across the globe.

Moving to another category, we have the SUVs, or the X series, which to be precise would be the X3 and X5. And then we have the Z series, which includes the Z3, Z4, Z8, and the soon-to-roll-out Z9. Finally would be the muscle BMW car series. The M series at the moment consist of M3, M5, M6 and Z4M.
